CAP technology:

Instituto Medico Laser has added AffirmT to its technical platform. It is a new micro thermal facial resurfacing laser device that uses CAP (Combined Apex Pulse), Multiplex and XPL (Xenon Pulsed Light) technologies. As well as effectively reducing wrinkles, AffirmT treats other signs of skin aging such as scar, pigmentations and vascular lesions. The result is a complete solution to skin aging with safer, faster and more efficient results.

CAP technology distributes energy at different heat intensity levels. This manipulation of the thermal and micro thermal tissue produces heat in the skin that stimulates collagen and elastic fibre production in the treated area. This restructures the skin and thoroughly moisturises it, correcting deep wrinkles and laxity.

This treatment is suitable for the elimination of wrinkles, both deep and superficial, scars, keloids, pigmented lesions and small veins. The average number of treatments is between 4 and 6 sessions once a fortnight. Each session lasts for approximately 30 minutes.
