FIT-100 Food Intolerance Test (100 Food Test)
Fit-200 Food Intolerance Test (200 Food Test)

This Study will enable you to find out which foods can be damaging to your health, causing: gastrointestinal, skin, pschychological, neurological, respiratory, and obesity problems, etc.

Food Intolerance test
IML works in collaboration with Laboratorio Sabater to conduct laboratory tests. A simple blood sample will enable you to find out which foods can be potentially harmful to your health.

Based on the test´s results, your doctor will recommend the most appropriate diet.

Food intolerance is due to the development of antibodies against proteins found in certain foods. This type of food intolerance is not IgE mediated and therefore does not cause allergy. It is an IgA- mediated intolerance that develops after multiple stimuli trigger the release of IgG.

By way of this immunological process, some foods can occasionally trigger digestive and other sort of symptoms. These manifestations may be insidious and difficult to correlate with the culprit food because they are moderate and usually chronic conditions.

Clinical conditions that have been shown to have a causal relationship with food intolerance and which have improved after the offending food was removed from the diet in more than two thirds of cases, include:

Food intolerance and obesity
Obese people that do not respond to standard weight loss regimens have experience weight losses when the offending food was eliminated from the diet as compared to those that presented a high sensitivity.

Gastrointestinal disturbances (50%)
Symptoms such as abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea, swelling, irritable colon syndrome are highly suggestive of food intolerance.

Skin proceses (16%)
Acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, urticaria, itching.

Psychological disorders (11%)
Anxiety, lethargy, depresión, fatigue, nausea, hyperactivity (mostly in children)

Neurological disturbances (10%)
Headache, migraine, dizziness, vertigo.

Respiratory disturbances (10%)
Asthma, rhinitis, respiratory difficulty. In these cases, these symptoms may overlap with an allergic process.

Other manifestations
Arthritis, fibromyalgia, swollen joints.
