 Crural Lift (Thigh Lift)

A crural lift is performed to return a normal turgence to the skin of the internal aspect of the thighs. Basically, excess skin is removed and the planes are sutured together which results in the tightening of the skin.
 
Normally, it is performed in combination with liposculpture in certain areas of the legs and gluteal area, in one single surgical stage or in two different stages.
 
The incision is hidden in the groin and it is extended into the gluteal area. It is designed so that it remains hidden when wearing bikinis or swimming suits. In one word, excess skin is removed to give the skin of the internal aspect of the thighs and buttocks a more firmer look.
