Gluteal Implant (Buttock Augmentation And Enhancement Surgery)
The incision is performed vertically or immediately above the intergluteal fold, hiding behind it. The implant is positioned in an anatomical plane resected for that purpose between greater gluteal maximus and gluteal minimus muscle.
Nowadays, gluteal muscles can be reshaped and enhanced permanently without incisions using permanent injectable fillers (Bioalcamid and Aquamid) that once infiltrated behave as a real prosthesis in the body. The injection of the right amount into the right place in several sessions achieves optimal results and adequately reshapes and enhances that body area.
During the postoperative period the patient should avoid lying on the back for at least one week.
