Fractional Resurfacing
FX ACTIVE is the last generation CO2 ultra pulse fractional laser for highly efficient facial resurfacing treatments.
Its ultra pulse and fractional system distinguishes it from other devices on the market, making it safer and more efficient. Its exclusive Cool-Scan system for laser energy delivery on the skin makes for a less aggressive treatment and a minimum amount of downtime.
Due to the above features, we can benefit from the advantages of CO2 without the risks involved in older systems with better efficiency and recovery speed (limited erythema, no secretions and an excellent general well-being).
The device is extremely versatile, allowing for personalised treatments, adapting them to each patient’s skin singularity.
Treatment is carried out in one 10 to 30 minute session, according to the surface to be treated, and requires no more than a topical anaesthetic cream. After treatment, the area is spread with Vaseline and the patient can return home. They can return to normal day to day activities 5 to 7 days later. Check ups should be held 5, 15 and 30 days after treatment. The patient should use sunscreen.
The only possible complication is post-treatment hyperpigmentation of the skin, associated with exposure to the sun. This would slow down the recovery process as it requires treatment with whitening peelings (although the patient can continue with normal activity wearing light makeup). |

IML directors, authors of "Body Contouring with Focused Ultrasounds
Demand for non-surgical body weight control treatments has increased in the last few years. Despite offering less corrective results than traditional liposuction, crural and brachial lifts have gradually gained ground in the reduction of localised fat and improvement of the skin's appearance and texture.
Diet, exercise and genetics are all important influencing factors in the appearance of indentations in the skin, which are hard to conceal at any age. Demand for non-surgical, non-ablative cellulite treatments have lead many manufacturers to invest in a new generation of sophisticated devices and therapies to repair the skin and improve body shape. A number of these options have a proven softening effect (after multiple treatment sessions).

Ultrashape: Transdermal lipolysis by means of ultrasound
Up to now the only way to improve body contour was by eliminating fat deposits made of adipose tissue by means of surgical liposuction. A new ultrasound-based system has been recently developed (Ultrashape: Contour I®) that works on the same principle: the destruction of adipocytes, but in a non-invasive fashion.
